hi! a marathon running travel-addicted foodie!? we must be twins eh! what marathons have you ran? im trying to decide which one for a may/june. i am a big foodie–but mostly abuse of food through writing and photography.
as for the cake pan–yes you could use a bread loaf pan, but if you can use a narrow long one, which is the one i used. it makes the individual pieces smaller, and i think if it was much wider it would be less attractive–a rectangle would be a little dumpy looking i think. but taste the same so, if it doesn’t matter to you then.
